To check your R370 SASSA status, follow these easy steps:

1. Open https://srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status
2. Enter the ID number and phone number you used in the application
3. Press “Submit”
4. Your grant status and payment date will appear on the screen

R370 Payment Dates – April 2025

SASSA status check for R350 is now called R370, and payment days for April 2025 are set between April 25 and April 30. You can use SRD status check method to see your exact date and make sure your money comes on time.

350 Status Check Grant via USSD

Dial 12069277# from your phone. Use your application reference number (not your ID). Follow the steps and your 350 status check online.

Use Moya App (Free Data) to See Your Status

Moya App lets you check your R370 status without using mobile data. Great option if you want to check your grant but don’t have airtime.

Check SRD Grant Status by Application ID

Find your 6-digit App ID in your email. Then:

• Go to SRD website
• Click “Get COVID-19 SRD Grant Details”
• Enter App ID and press submit
• Your R350 grant status will show on screen

Check Appeal Status for SASSA Grant

1. Visit https://srd.sassa.gov.za/appeals
2. Click on “Check Appeals Status”
3. Type your phone number and App ID
4. Enter OTP sent to your number

SASSA grant Increases for 2025/26

SASSA has increased payment amounts starting April 2025:

• R370 monthly grant stays the same
• Old age grant now R2,310 (R2,330 for 75+)
• Child support increased to R560, top-up is R280
• Disability grant is now R2,310
• Foster care grant is R1,250
• Care dependency grant is R2,310

Didn’t Get Your SASSA Money?

If you usually collect from the post office, your payment might be delayed due to low cash at the branch. This can slow down your payout.

What to Do If Payment is Late

First, check your bank or post office. Still not resolved? Call SASSA at 0800 60 1811. Also, check if your phone number is registered under your name. If your status says “Paid” but money didn’t come after 5 working days, contact SASSA.

Why Do I See ‘Already Active’?

You may already have an active session or an open application. This message appears when you try to apply again while your request is still in process.

What Do Status Messages Mean?

Here are some common status responses and what they mean:

1. Pending: Still checking your application.
2. Declined for the Month: This month’s grant was not approved, but future payments may come.
3. Failed: You may already get UIF, NSFAS, or other government help.
4. Referred: Sent to another department for extra checks – usually still a good sign.
5. Alternative Income Found: You might be earning more than the allowed limit.
6. Application Not Selected: You didn’t choose a post office or there was a bank issue.
7. NSFAS Registered: You’re already getting help from NSFAS, so you might not be eligible.
